If your child has a food allergy, eczema, hay fever, or another allergic condition, I am here to help. I want to take the time to understand your child's history and work with you on a clear & practical plan; from first reactions to long-term management.

Please bring your child's Medicare card, doctor’s referral letter and blue book to your first appointment. If your child has any previous skin prick tests, blood tests or relevant investigations, hospital discharge letters, specialist letters then please bring these along also.

Please expect the initial appointment to take at least an hour, so plan accordingly. Bring along some toys and safe snacks to keep your little one entertained!

The first appointment will be around an hour in duration. We will go through your child's history and symptoms in detail. If indicated during our consultation, then skin prick testing may happen during the appointment time as well.  

Our clinic will let you know the timing of when to stop any oral antihistamines or medications prior to appointment so that it does not interfere with the skin prick test results.

Please bring some safe snacks and distraction for your child as it can be a long process for them.

Dr Maggie works across 3 different private clinics in Sydney, making her accessible to patients across a broad corridor of the city.  She consults at Leichhardt (Inner west), Bondi Junction (Eastern suburbs), and Kogarah (St George/south). 

Depending on which location suits your family best, the easiest way to make an appointment is to call up the respective clinic's phone number in order  to check most up-to-date availability and confirm appointment booking.

Alternatively, you could also email the respective clinic's email and send through an electronic copy of your GP referral.

We are a privately billing specialist practice. Consultation fees will be outlined at the time of booking the appointment. A valid referral letter and Medicare card is required to be eligible for a Medicare rebate. We can submit Medicare claims on your behalf on the same day. 

Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel your appointment. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to allow time to reallocate your appointment to others. If you cancel within 48 hours, or do not attend a booked appointment, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee. 

Wait times for routine appointments are generally within a few weeks to a month, though this may vary. Please contact the relevant clinic for the most up-to-date availability. Urgent appointments are accommodated where clinically indicated. Also ask to be put on the "cancellation lists" in order to access earlier appointment times when they arise.

Dr Maggie offers telehealth services when appropriate. Please discuss this option when booking the appointment if you feel this is required.
